The more I use this stuff, the more I am in love. I've had it for quite some time now, but had to extend its props. I exclusively do tracking through the software, and do my final mix externally through my Mackie and outboard processors. Being an ole school girl in the music tracking/mixing realm, I have a bit of reservations in using the software's virtual processors. I occasionally use a few of the internal effects, but for the finals, it's got to be on the outside for me. I can tweak better, and it leaves my external gear not just sitting there collecting dust.
I've had my eye on ProTools for some time, but uhm, I think I'm going to stick it out with Cubase. It's worked flawlessly with my setup.
Being off today, I've been posted up in the lab, doing what I do. I've not done any creating, but have prepared some pieces for a vocalist who's shooting through later on.
I've got another ad/radio spot to complete as well. Maybe sometime, I'll post some of them so y'all can get a feel of what I do regarding commercial spots.
I hope all of you are blessed with a beautiful day.
